Make AI ask you questions first

Ever ask AI for help and get back a plan for somebody else’s life?

Easy fix. Make it ask YOU questions first. Works in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok:

“I want help planning [a fun Saturday / a weekend trip / a family dinner]. Before you suggest anything, ask me 5 quick questions about what I like, my budget, my time, and anything I hate. One question at a time. Then give me a simple plan.”

Answer like you’re texting a buddy. Short is fine.

Still check hours, prices, and addresses before you go. AI’s plan is a first draft, not a reservation.

Lewis skipped this step once and got a 6 AM hike. He’s still recovering.
